Terms of Use

Last updated: 06.10.2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Yellowcake Music Group Inc. ("Yellowcake", "we", "us"). They apply when you use any of the following:

  • our website at yellowcakemusicgroup.com;
  • our artist and label dashboard (the "Platform");
  • our pre-save and artist subscription pages (the "Fan Services").

Together these are the "Services". By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be old enough to use the streaming service you connect, and at least 13 years old, to use the Fan Services. In the UK and EEA, the minimum is 16.
  • You must be 18 or over to hold a Platform account. A parent or guardian may hold an account on behalf of a minor and is responsible for it.
  • If you use the Services on behalf of a company, label or artist, you confirm that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.
  • You must give us accurate information and keep your login details secure. Each person should have their own login, so do not share yours. Our staff will never ask for your password. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at legal@yellowcakemusicgroup.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

2. The artist and label Platform

The Platform gives artists and labels access to their catalogue, analytics, statements and payouts.

  • If you have a separate written agreement with us, it prevails over these Terms where the two conflict.
  • These Terms govern how you access and use the Platform itself.
  • Reports and figures shown on the Platform are provided for convenience. They may be updated as stores send corrections. Your official statements determine what you are owed.
  • Access to the Platform may be given to people you invite. You are responsible for their use of your account.

Confidentiality. Some information on the Platform is not public, such as statements, sales and streaming reports, and payout details. You must keep it confidential and share it only with your own advisers or where the law requires.

3. Pre-saves and artist subscriptions

How it works. Yellowcake runs pre-save campaigns for releases we distribute. When you pre-save a release through one of these campaigns, you connect your Spotify, Apple Music or Tidal account and authorise us to save that release to your library when it comes out. Depending on the campaign, we may also follow the artist or add the release to a playlist. The page will tell you which of these will happen before you connect.

Artist subscriptions. If you subscribe to an artist, you authorise us to keep saving that artist's new releases to your library until you unsubscribe.

Your permission. By connecting your account, you allow us to perform those actions on your behalf, using the permissions you approve on the streaming service's own screen. We will not use your connection for anything else. Our Privacy Policy explains what data this involves.

Stopping. You can unsubscribe or disconnect at any time. Remove Yellowcake from the connected apps in your streaming account settings, or email legal@yellowcakemusicgroup.com. Actions we have already completed, such as a release saved to your library, stay in your account unless you remove them yourself.

No guarantee. Release dates can change, and a release may be delayed, withdrawn or unavailable in your country. We will try to complete your pre-save, but we cannot guarantee that a release will appear on a particular date or at all.

The Fan Services are free. We do not charge fans for them.

4. Third-party services

The Services connect to services we do not control. These include Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Google Sign-In and our payment provider, Tipalti. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Those providers, not Yellowcake, are responsible for their services. They may change or withdraw features, such as the permissions needed for pre-saves, and that may affect what we can offer. Spotify, Apple, Tidal and Google are not sponsors of the Services and are not responsible for them.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use bots, scripts, fake accounts or paid schemes to generate pre-saves, follows, subscriptions or streams, or otherwise manipulate streaming or chart activity;
  • connect a streaming account that is not yours, or one you are not authorised to use;
  • upload or distribute content you do not own or control the rights to;
  • access the Services by automated means, or scrape, reverse-engineer or overload them, except as we expressly allow. You also must not frame or embed our pages, or harvest other users' contact details;
  • try to get around our security, or access other users' accounts or data;
  • use the Services for anything unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or harmful.

We may remove content, cancel pre-saves, withhold or reverse activity that appears artificial, and report suspected manipulation to the streaming services.

6. Intellectual property

Yellowcake or its licensors own the Services, including the software, design and the Yellowcake name and logo. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Services in line with these Terms. You may not copy, modify or resell the Services.

Artists, labels and their licensors own the music, artwork and other content shown on pre-save and artist pages. Viewing that content does not give you any rights in it.

Campaign pages. Yellowcake creates and runs all pre-save and artist subscription campaigns. We use artwork and release information supplied to us by the artist or label, which we have the right to use for this purpose.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions about the Services, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, write to our designated agent at Yellowcake Music Group Inc., 30 N. Gould St STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, or email legal@yellowcakemusicgroup.com. Include:

  • the work you own;
  • the material you say infringes it and where it appears;
  • your contact details;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised;
  • a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We respond to notices in line with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable law, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.

Counter-notices. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:

  • your signature;
  • the material that was removed and where it appeared;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  • your consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal courts.

7. Disclaimers, liability and indemnity

Disclaimer. We provide the Services "as is" and "as available", to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any pre-save, follow or result will be achieved.

Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, Yellowcake is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising from the Services in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of US$100 and the fees you paid us for the Services in that period.

What we do not limit. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud. If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you keep the statutory rights you have under local law.

Indemnity. If you use the Services for business purposes, you will compensate Yellowcake for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that arise because you broke these Terms or infringed someone else's rights.

8. Suspension, termination and changes

  • You can stop using the Services at any time. Fans can unsubscribe and disconnect as described in section 3. To close a Platform account, contact us.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we must do so by law, or to protect the Services, artists or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.
  • We may change or discontinue features of the Services.
  • We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give notice by email or on the Services before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after that date, you accept the updated Terms.

Sections 6, 7 and 9 continue to apply after these Terms end.

9. Governing law, disputes and general terms

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Stanislaus County, California. If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and you keep the protections of your local consumer law.

General.

  • These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate written agreement you have with us, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • If any provision is unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
  • If we do not enforce a provision, that does not mean we have waived it.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor business.

Notices. We may send notices to the email address on your account. Email satisfies any requirement for notices to be in writing. Send notices to us at legal@yellowcakemusicgroup.com.

Events outside our control. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include outages at streaming services, hosting providers or networks.

California users. Under California Civil Code section 1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services, California Department of Consumer Affairs, at 1625 North Market Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone on (800) 952-5210.
